The burgers are on the grill, the music is playing, and your friends are waiting.
My wife, Chris, and I are baby boomers. Did you know there are 73 million of us? We are retirees, empty nesters, widows, widowers, divorcees, newlyweds, you name it, we cover the gamut.
But here’s the stone cold truth. This time of life is not always a bed of roses. In fact, it’s one of the most challenging seasons of life and that’s why we're launching The Boomers Backyard Party Podcast.
We wanted to create a place where people like us can just hang out, have some laughs, and be with people we can relate to, like being with your friends at a backyard barbecue.
There's nothing like spending time with people who don’t judge you, who understand where you’ve been and what you’re going through, who occasionally offer up some much-needed advice and encouragement, and always leave you feeling a bit happier and more content.
